Home from clinic!
We had another good clinic visit. Lexy's counts were awesome, with her ANC being 4600!! YIPEE!!! Her blood draw was awful. The nurse tried both arms and blew two veins. It was very traumatic for Lexy (and Mommy) but it is over now. I'm hoping it isn't like this everytime, b/c she'll never want to go back. And of course, they took her blood pressure right afterwards and wondered why it was so high?! Duh!! O'well, like I said it's over and all is good. On a sad note, her Oncologist, Dr Jude, is leaving. Her and her husband are moving back to Texas where there family is from. She also had some very exciting news, she is pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. How I wish I could see them when they are born! We will all miss her so much, she's been our Dr since day 1. We are switching to Dr Hill, whom we have seen before and felt very comfotable with. Explaining to Lexy where Dr Jude went is going to be tough but I'm sure she'll like Dr Hill too.
Nathan has been running a fever for the last couple days. He is acting fine, but I think if he is still running one tomorrow I'll take him in. Please pray for him to get better quick and for Lexy not to get whatever he has!!
We have a busy week ahead of us still. Thursday, we are meeting with Covered Bridge Special Education to discuss her kindergarden next year. I'll let you know how it goes.
Take care and hopefully it is going to warm up soon. The kids are a little confused, one day cold and the next day hot!!! Liz
