Another Disney Video!!

Hello everyone! Not much going on around here. The kids and I spent a couple days at Mi Mi's house this week, because our air quit working. It is fixed now (thank God), and we are back home enjoying our toys again. Thankfully it really hasn't been too hot the past couple days, so Jason stayed at home because it is closer to work.
The kids are starting to feel better. Lexy still has a few more days of antibotics and all they have left is the never ending cough. I never did catch it (knock on wood), to which I'm glad because there isn't much medicine I can take because of the pregnancy. Nothing worse than a bad cold without cold medicine to help relieve it!!
Here is another video of the kids. They fell in love with the teacups and we rode them and rode them. It was new for me, because in all the times I'd been to DisneyWorld, I've never rode the teacups. They really weren't that bad! Enjoy!

Video

Hi! Since my earlier post was so boring I thought I'd share a cute video of Lexy on Dumbo with you. She's so darn cute!! Liz

TGIF

Hello! Hope everyone is doing good, we are doing ok. Lexy and Nathan have both had fevers this week and then started in with a cold/cough yesterday. I took Lexy to the Dr this morning and she has a double ear infection and is now on antibiotics. She feels pretty rotten but is still active and cheery. Hopefully the medicine will kick in in a few days and she'll be on the mend soon!!
Not much going on this weekend. We are finishing up on the basement this weekend, and hopefully all of the furniture will be done there and it'll be ready for us to relax and play. The kid's room is primarily done but we have still been working on the family room. It is going to be so nice!!
I have a Dr appointment next week and we schedule for the sonogram at that time. I'm very excited to see what we are having!!
Sorry not much to report but just wanted to give you a quick update. Liz

TGIF

Hello! We've had a busy yet fun week around here. Wednesday we went swimming at my brother's house and the kids had a blast. By the end of the day, Lexy was doing really well with her floaties and Nathan was warming up to the idea of being in the water. He just isn't so sure of it yet, he insists there's a shark in the water (where he got that idea, i don't know). Right now he is really big into monsters/tigers being everywhere, must be a stage he's going through. About once a day I have to go and check under his bed for a monster!!
Yesterday we took a lot of the kid's toys downstairs into the new toy room. The kids love it down there and Jason and I are enjoying the extra space. Hopefully we can get the new family room furnished and a TV down there this weekend.
Today we have already been to Walmart. It is so darn humid out there already, it is miserable. I don't go go with hot weather, so I think I'm staying in to play for the rest of the day. Tomorrow we plan on going swimming again and Micheal (lexy's friend) is going to come to.
Thank you for the prayers for Ezra. He seems to be doing a lot better the past couple days, but I'm sure could still use your prayers. Well, we are off to play, enjoy your day! Liz

Good clinic visit!!

Hello! We are home from Riley and Lexy did great. Her hearing was perfect, so we do not need to go back again unless we think there is a problem. Oncology went fine, her counts are great and we do not need to go back for 8 more weeks. She seemed to hit it off with her new Dr, Dr. Hill. All in all a great visit!!
I also wanted to share this story with you and ask for prayers for a little boy named Ezra. At Lexy's DS clinic appointment in May, we met a women and her little boy down in xray. I just happened to sit down beside her and noticed her infant had down syndrome. I hestitaed to say anything but as soon as she saw Lexy, she started talking to me about little Ezra (who is simply adorable by the way). She mentioned to me that he would be having heart surgery in about a month and I told her I'd keep her in my prayers and then we said our goodbyes. Well low and behold, while we were in the cafteria today, she saw us and immediatly came up to talk to us. This is where the prayers come into play. Ezra has had many complications since his surgery and has been in the ICU for the past 7 days. My heart broke for her, but she seemed so strong and her faith is unbelievable. Little Ezra is blessed with a wonderful family!! Everything happens for a reason, and I truly believe God meant for us to meet back up again. Please visit his caringbridge site and say a little prayer for this little cutie. His site is http://caringbridge.org/visit/ezrawilliams

TGIF

Hello everyone! We are all doing great here, just missing DisneyWorld. Both kids are talking about it like we can just pick up and go across the street and ride Dumbo (i wish). We are going back in the beginning of September. My Mom recently bought into the Disney Vacation Club and we need to use up some of our time, so off we are going again. We are nuts, aren't we? O'well, I'd rather be at the beach, but the kids love it there. It's all about the kids, right?!! They'll grow up before I know it, and not want to see Mickey anymore ( i can't even imagine, b/c I still like Mickey).
Not much going on around here this week. They are finishing up on our basement today, and hopefully by tomorrow their will be furniture and toys! YEAH!!! It will be so nice to have the extra room. I haven't shared this with everyone on here yet, but Jason and I are expecting another little bundle this December. This is one of the main reasons for finishing our basement, because we are running out of room!! Lexy and Nathan are very excited and are still insisting it is a girl, so we will see next month if they are right!!
Lexy has her oncology appointment next Tuesday and she is also going to have her hearing tested. I don't believe she is hard of hearing, it is just recommended to do once a year when you have DS. I still need to make an appointment for an eye exam as well. It'll be a long day Tuesday, but with the cost of gas, I thought I'd better just get in two appointments in one day. I'll let you know how it goes!!
Other than that, just pretty boring around here (we like boring). I'll update next week with new remodel pictures and an update from the Dr. Keep Lexy in your prayers on Tuesday. Take care, Liz
